Ministries with Adults

Each Sunday morning we have two classes for adults at Main Street to encourage faith development through Bible teaching, Christian principles, and the life of Jesus.  

Methodist Men gather monthly for a delicious breakfast, prayer, and devotion.  You’ll find this group busy working on projects throughout the church and the community.

This group of both church ladies and community members gathers weekly to dive into God’s Word.  The group is named after a matriarch and pillar of our church- Nora Greene.

We have a daytime and evening option each week to dive into truth found in scripture.  Pastor Brandon’s expository style of study is engaging, encouraging, deep and full of application.    

Join this group of not-so adventurous but full of sunshine gang as we take day journeys with all who are able to join us.

There are many ways to get involved and make a difference! We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for all ages and interests — from helping with community outreach and special events to serving on Sunday mornings or supporting behind-the-scenes ministries. Whether you have a few hours to give or want to commit regularly, there’s a place for you to serve and grow with us.

Join this small group of dedicated folks who gather each Wednesday to pray for the needs of our church family, community, and world at large.  Have something you would like us to pray about?  Complete the prayer card in your pew on Sunday or email us.

Main Street has three active women’s circles that are engaged in a host of ministries and meet monthly.  This is a great way to connect with other women in fellowship and mission.  For more information about Agnes Rogers, Ann Moore, or Susannah Wesley Circle check out information in our monthly newsletter.

Walk to Emmaus retreat strengthens disciples rooting them in grace and love. Named after the biblical story in Luke 24, the retreat uses a combination of worship, singing, prayer, small group discussions, and reflection to inspire participants to live out their faith more fully in their daily lives.  Main Street supports this ministry by sending interested individuals to the retreat experience. 

Join us in the spring for our annual Church-wide retreat for all ages.  We worship, grow, and play together!

We have periodic gatherings for special occasions including our annual Christmas Party, Trunk or Treat, Shrove Tuesday, Valentine’s Dinner, Fall Festival and more!

Main Street’s choir plays a vital role in leading and enhancing the congregation’s praise and worship through music. They help set the tone for the service.  They practice on Sunday evenings at 5:00 and are open to new folks!
